Welcome to Hands and Hearts of Hope

What is our mission?

We bring hands (action to meet needs) and hearts (care and loving assistance) to create hope (ongoing, positive transformation).

Hands and Hearts of Hope was founded to locate and reach out to fragile individuals and groups who have fallen through the cracks of society, and then to provide assistance in the ways that will make the greatest difference in the moment and in the future.

Who do we serve?

  • Unhoused college students

  • At-risk families with children

  • Isolated elderly

…and any vulnerable individual or group who has been unable to avail themselves of positive resources

How do we make a difference?

Once we have identified those needing our assistance, we provide targeted services and support – not only meeting immediate needs, but restoring dignity and the ability to enjoy full, meaningful lives. We also identify and enlist the support of additional resources, including related community organizations, funding sources, and volunteer assistance.

Bringing hands and hearts to serve. Creating hope.

Bringing hope to homeless college students

We are actively bringing focused assistance to the surprisingly large percentage of California’s college students struggling with homelessness and food insecurity. We recognize that these too-often forgotten young people are our future, and with targeted support, we can better ensure their success.

Connecting resources with those in need

We have learned that we can also effectively address the unique needs of an at-risk community by partnering with other organizations that provide relevant services. Whether tangible resources or case management services, fragile individuals and groups can find healing when services are effectively coordinated.
